We have a crawler!

Our little sweets has hit another milestone. A few weeks shy of 9 months and she is crawling. Ella has been crawling....backwards for the last month or so and rocking so we knew it was getting close. Well on Sunday I put her down thinking she would stay put for a moment and I walked away...well she FOLLOWED!! Were so proud of our little one. She is doing great. Now I get to look forward to the constant checking of the floor and then dare I say it....WALKING!

Chubba Chubba

Our little Ella LOVES the water... which makes her Dad very happy as he is an excellent swimmer. Its the getting out part that we tend to have a struggle with. So what do we do to remedy the situation?

Put her in front of Little Einsteins of course! It gives me the time I need to get her lotioned, clothed and ready to go. And Ella? When her friends are on, she could care less what is happening around her.

I must have said her name 5 times...Nope. Nada. Nothin.

But our little chubba chubba sure is cute.

Tuckered Out.

Ella had a rough day. She was getting over being sick (only the icky 24 hour thing-thank goodness) and so I decided to let her just roll around for a minute with her bottle and see if she would soothe herself to sleep. WELL...

31...and Counting

Artyom turned the big 31 on Sunday and we celebrated Russian style with all of his friends over for a small get together. It was so much fun. Sofia and I made Papa a tie quilt of U of U print and Sofia (with Betsy's help) had the cutest card for him Ill have to post those pics later.

Anyway. Happy Birthday My Red Flame! Hope it was a good one.

And yet...he does

Our two little valentines...
This was taken after I started to make breakfast and did not hear anyting from the hall in a few minutes. Sofia helping herself to the CHOCOLATE!
When I married Artyom, he was very blunt in informing me that I should not expect flowers, presents, etc. throughout our marriage as he is just now that way. YET. On the day that has been established as the day of love, or the day people are forced to pay moola for chocolate, the girls and I woke up to this....
A balloon for each of his girls and chocolate to BOOT! He went at 1 in the morning after we were all fast asleep and set it up for us. Funny thing is: he thought the susprise was ruined when I woke up about 3AM to get a bottle for Ella. I didnt even notice it! Great job my Red Flame. It was a great day with the bouncy house, lunch with Paul and Liane and Madalyn and a very quiet evening with the girls.

Everyone loves brown and blue eyed girls!

Just had to post this one, where Ella's eyes are SO blue and Sofia has her beautiful browns. Maybe we will get a green eyed next. (No, I am not announcing anything). Just relishing my two little sweets.

A day in the life

I have a great job where the girls get to come to work with me and and even greater girl, Betsy who watches them downstairs while I am in my office. I asked her to get some candid pics of the girls the other day and this is what she gave me. There were so many to choose from, I took just a few. Thank you Betsy! We love you!
